This site is designed to tell you about our apartment in Pafos, Cyprus, which is now available for holiday rental.

We fell into buying 'our place in the sun' a bit by accident really as we hadn't even thought about Cyprus as a holiday destination. While in the travel agent one day we discovered that we could fly to Cyprus from our local airport - what a bonus! So off we went.

Having been to Cyprus once, we were hooked. The people were so friendly and the way of life so relaxed and different from ours. In fact the first Greek words we learnt were "Siga siga", "Slowly slowly". Language wasn't a problem as English is the second language and nearly everyone speaks it well.

When we decided to buy a property in Cyprus we were looking for somewhere away from the 'touristy' area. We think we have found our ideal location. Our penthouse apartment is situated in a residential/retail area, which means that our neighbours are 'locals' and yet we are only a few minutes drive from the beaches and many tavernas. Pafos town centre is an easy walk away.

The popular Coral Bay is a 15 minute drive and the Troodos Mountains are only a short distance away.

Pafos is situated on the sunny south west coast of Cyprus, below the Akamas Peninsular.

Ancient Nea Pafos is an archaeological paradise, and the whole area has been designated a World Heritage site.
